Valentines – Day 15

Author: Jeremy Teeuwsen

The kids are all gone and we’re alone

There is no one here not on the phone

It’s time we’ve been

Long gone and seen

And it’s time we got into the zone

With dinner we’ve got to take flight

We don’t want to be late for a bite

There will be a show to

That we’ve got to go to

Don’t worry we’re booked for the night

Love,

Your rhyme mastering husband

Gift and Reaction:  Well the gift is pretty obvious and I gave her this little poem early so that she would have time to get ready.  As for the reaction she is excited and I will probably keep the details of this one to myself. 😉

Valentines – Day 14

Author: Jeremy Teeuwsen

Relax don’t do it
When you want to go to it
Relax don’t do it
When you want to clean
Relax don’t do it
Just sit on the coach
and watch a movie…

Love,

Your relaxed husband.

Gift and Reaction: She was excited, but then she kindly reminded me that we were going to her parents for Valentine’s dinner and that we probably wouldn’t have time for a move.  might have to schedule that in for tomorrow…

Valentines – Day 13

Author: Jeremy Teeuwsen

She was afraid to come out of the bathroom
She was as nervous as she could be
She was afraid to come out of the bathroom
She was afraid that he would see
Two, three, four, tell him what she wore

It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot teddini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy, bitsy, teentie, weenie, yellow polka-dot teddini
So in the bathroom she wanted to stay
Two, three, four, stick around we’ll tell you more

She was afraid to come out in the open
And so a blanket around she wore
She was afraid to come out in the open
And so she sat bundled up on the floor
Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore

It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot teddini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy, bitsy, teentie, weenie, yellow polka-dot teddini
So in the blanket she wanted to stay
Two, three, four, stick around we’ll tell you more

Now she’s afraid to come out of the covers
And I wonder what she’s gonna do
Now she’s afraid to come out of the covers
And the poor little girl’s turning blue
Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore

It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot teddini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy, bitsy, teentie, weenie, yellow polka-dot teddini
So under the covers she wanted to stay
(From the locker to the blanket)
(From the blanket to the floor)
(From the floor to the covers)
Yes, there isn’t any more

Love,

Your wishful husband

Gift and Reaction:  Well I didn’t buy the lingerie, but I did give her a home made gift certficate.  This may make the rest of the 15 days of valentines a little more interesting. 🙂

Valentines – Day 12

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up
Just, just..
Just the way, that you smile
and the things, that you say
Like Eastwood on the movies
yo, baby, +make my day+
It’s not a game, not a movie
It’s yo’ love that do this to me
Dial my number, call me up
I go from pitbull to precious pup

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up

Check it out..
Be my GIRL, be my lady
Be my WOMAN, be my baby
Treat you like a diamond ring
Kiss and hold me, sweet thing
Be my FRIEND, be my homie
Be my girl, my one and only
Call my name, I can’t explain
Yo’ sweetness drive me insane

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up
Met this girl, get me hype…
Get me hype, get me stupid
Shot with an uzi, by ol’ Cupid
Got me goin on and on
Can’t stop groanin on my mobile phone
She says hi, I say yo
That gets it off and there we go
Just so sweet, you oh so real
I’m GETTIN weak, that’s how I FEEL!

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up

I remember how I met you, girl…
On the night that we first met
that is the way that I forget
We were buggin at a club
Gettin live – OAKTOWN DOES!
Then you looked, and I looked
and there it was, we were HOOKED!
Sweetness on yo’ face
that’s why my body (SHOOK AND SHOOK)

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up

“Give it to me baby”

Yo, yo, yo..

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up

Now, now..
Now the love, that you have
is the love, that I need
Like a fat man eatin chicken
on your lovin, I will feed (word!)
From the moment, that I see you
I don’t KNOW, how to act
A weakness for yo’ sweetness
makes my heart go PITTIN-PATT!

YO’ SWEET-NESS – (“Give it to me, give it to me”)
IS, MY WEAK-NESS – (“Give it to me, baby”)
Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up, pump it up

Love,

Your purely poetic plagiarist partner (husband)

Gift and Reaction: 12 red roses was the gift and the reaction was a great big hug and kiss.  She had to earn them though.  The boys made her keep her eyes closed till they were ready to give them to her.

Valentines – Day 10

Author: Jeremy Teeuwsen

We seek them here, we seek them there,

Those Frenchies seek them everywhere.

Are they fruit? Are they flowers?

Those damned, elusive ….(what is it???)

Love,

Your Scarlet Pimpernel

Gift and Reaction: that is a quote from a movie that my wife loves and I detest, but what are you going to do.  I bought a dozen chocolate dipped apples and strawberries from Edible Arrangements.  She barely took one out of the box before the boys and I were in it.  Her reaction was “Hey that is my Valentine’s Day present.”  To which we responded with …. mmmm hm mm mmm.

Valentines – Day 9

Author: Jeremy Teeuwsen

Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings,
your neck with strings of jewels.
We will make you earrings of gold,
   studded with silver.

Love,

Your quoting husband.

Gift and Reaction: Today was some Pandora earrings that she has been bugging me about.  I put them out on the counter with the Song of Solomon quote and she didn’t get them till later in the afternoon.  I received a very excited call.  Problem is I thought I bought broken earrings as they did not come with a clasp for her ear.  Found out later that they are interchangeable dangly thingys and that she already had the ear/clasp piece.  I am not up on my earring jargon.

Valentines – Day 8

Author: Jeremy Teeuwsen

Does he love me I want to know
How can I tell if he loves me so
Is it in his eyes ?
Oh no ! You’ll be deceived
Is it in his sighs ?
Oh no ! He’ll make believe
If you want to know if he loves you so
It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is

Is it in his face ?
Oh no ! That’s just his charms
In his warm embrace ?
Oh no ! That’s just his arms
If you want to know if he loves you so
It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is
It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is

Kiss him and squeeze him tight
Find out what you want to know
If it’s love, if it really is
It’s there in his kiss

How about the way he acts
Oh no ! That’s not the way
And you’re not list’nin’ to all I say
If you wanna know if he loves you so
It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is
It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is

Kiss him and squeeze him tight
Find out what you want to know
If it’s love, if it really is
It’s there in his kiss

How about the way he acts
Oh no ! That’s not the way
And you’re not listnin’ to all I say
If you wanna know if he loves you so
It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is

It’s in his kiss
That’s where it is

Love,

Your huggable and kissable husband.

Gift/Reaction: Well it wasn’t real kisses, but chocolate hugs and kisses.  The boys were excited and I have a feeling ate more than she first realized. 🙂

Today may not of been one of my creative days…

Love,

Your movie going husband.

Gift and Reaction:  Movie passes with popcorn that must of course be used with me.  She was impressed with today’s song as I could remember all the words when singing it.  She also suggested we watch the The Green Hornet.  It sure is good to have a wife that likes action movies. 🙂

Gift and Reaction: Well, she always loves chocolate so that was of course a good gift. 🙂 I just wasn’t able to find a Ritter Sport in time and ended up with some other fancy chocolate bar. She also liked the word Ophelimity. 😉
